The Privacy Policy at https://newsautomotive.com.br/s/privacy/ complements these Terms and explains processing purposes, data and rights request channels. These Terms do not waive mandatory data protection rights or limit liability contrary to those laws.
Legal bases and consent
Each processing purpose requires a valid legal basis under Article 6 of the GDPR and Articles 7 and 11 of the LGPD, according to the nature of the data. Accepting these Terms or simply browsing does not constitute consent to advertising, audience measurement or other optional processing.
Where consent is the legal basis, it must be freely given, informed, specific and unambiguous, and requested separately from the Terms. It must be possible to refuse and withdraw consent at any time through a free and easy procedure without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing, under Article 7 of the GDPR and Article 8 of the LGPD. Send consent-related requests to [email protected].

For information about the controller and to exercise your rights, contact [email protected]. Accepting advertising is not required to submit a request. Proportionate identity verification may be needed to protect your data.
Subject to the conditions and exceptions in Articles 12 to 22 of the GDPR and Articles 18 to 20 of the LGPD, you may request:
- confirmation of processing and access to your data;
- correction of inaccurate or incomplete data;
- erasure, anonymisation or blocking of data, where legally applicable;
- restriction of or objection to processing, where applicable;
- data portability in the circumstances provided by law;
- information about sharing, the consequences of refusing consent and withdrawal of consent;
- review of automated decisions and other safeguards under the applicable law;
- a complaint to the Brazilian National Data Protection Agency (ANPD) or the competent supervisory authority in the European Economic Area, as applicable.
Retention, security and international transfers
Data retention must be limited to what each purpose requires, subject to legal obligations and other permitted grounds. Applicable criteria must be explained in the Privacy Policy; these Terms do not set a universal retention period.
Processing requires technical and organisational safeguards appropriate to the risks under Article 32 of the GDPR and Article 46 of the LGPD. No system offers absolute security; this clause does not claim any certification or specific security technology.
Any international transfer must comply with Articles 44 to 49 of the GDPR and Article 33 onwards of the LGPD, including applicable ANPD rules. The mechanism and safeguards must match the actual operation; these Terms do not presume certification, a destination country or a specific contract.
